LWRG Autumn seminars 2012

The London Water Research Group seminars will start again on the 22nd Oct. This term sees seminars on Water Security, Water License Trading, Investment in Land and Water Resources (sometimes called land-grabbing'), and Water Markets in the Murray-Darling basin.
The next seminar takes place on the 5th November when Andrew Gregson from the New South Wales Irrigators Council will give a talk entitled 'Market solutions for agricultural water scarcity management: Water License Trading in Australia's Murray-Darling Basin' This seminar will take place at 5:30pm on the 5th November at King's College London, Strand campus, in the Pyramid Room on the 4th floor.
These seminars attract a wide audience and are always home to lively discussion, so come along and share your views!

WWF: Working with the private sector on water security
On the 22nd October David Tickner from WWF gave the first of the Autumn 2012 LWRG seminars. David's talk highlighted the work WWF have been doing with companies such as Coca-Cola, M&S and SAB Miller to improve water stewardship in the supply chain. You can download David's presentation below.
